A COUPLE OF REMINDERS:
On Sunday, September 29th, KOG will be registering as a team for Saskatoon’s AIDS WALK FOR LIFE. We (and friends, family) can all be team members. Please sign on as a team member and/or pledge/donate. (Note, there have been some online registration glitches.) All money raised will go directly to support people who are infected by, affected by, and at risk of HIV, HCV and other blood born pathogens. Registration starts at 12:00 at the Roxy Theatre on 320 20th Street West. The walk will be from about 1:00-2:00 p.m. with speeches, prize drawings and refreshments afterwards.
September 29th is also BACK TO CHURCH SUNDAY. This event is the largest single-local invitational initiative in the world. It is based on the simplest and shortest step in evangelism – that we invite someone we already know to something we love and believe to be life-changing – inviting a family member or friend to church. Please pray for, invite and accompany someone you know to BACK TO CHURCH SUNDAY at KOG on September 29th.

KOG’s bible study is in full swing again this fall. The next meeting is Thursday, September 19th at Pastor Michael’s home, 1010 Duke Street.
KOG will again be represented in the AIDS WALK on September 29th. (More info. to follow).
KOG has designated September 29th as BACK TO CHURCH SUNDAY. (More info. to follow.)
On September 8th KOG held its annual service and picnic by the river. The weather was fine, the food was delicious, and the outdoor music and service was a reminder of what a gift creation is.
Just a reminder: There will be a Church service and picnic in Meewasin Park, Sunday, September 8th at 11:00am. Potluck at noon. Bring dishes, cutlery, and folding chairs.
